TIP OF THE WEEK: HOW TO REZ AN OBJECT IN THE SAME SPOT

FOR SINGLE OBJECTS (INCLUDING SINGLE OBJECT HOMES)

IF YOU HAVE A VIEWER SUCH AS SINGULARITY or FIRESTORM:

1) Select your current house.

2) Go into the Object Tab of edit.

3) Click the C (for Copy) button by the Position numbers.

4) Click the C button  by the Rotation numbers.

5) Delete that house and rez the new copy.

6) Click the P (for Paste) button by the position numbers.

7) Click the P button by the rotation numbers.

The new copy will pop into place!

FOR HOUSES THAT REZ FROM A REZ BOX

Check the main box contents for a picture of where and what rotation to place the rez box.

TIP OF THE WEEK: EMPTYING TRASH

If you’ve ever deleted something non-copyable, you know how frustrating it can be!  Well, there are safeguards you can take to ensure this doesn’t happen.  With Singularity you can open just one folder in a separate window. Then (among other handy things) you can use ‘no copy’ as a keyword so everything that is no copy, and only those things, will show up in your trash folder.

You can use filters with this window to only show a certain time period.  Just go to “file” in inventory, and “show filters” to set the filters you want.
